Matches will be played in accordance with the Laws of the Game:
The AJFC Malaysia League will be played in two (2) stages:
To be played in six (6) regions consisting of the following States and Federal Territories:
Central Zone – Selangor, Kuala Lumpur and Putrajaya
Southern Zone – Negeri Sembilan, Malacca and Johor
East Coast Zone – Pahang, Terengganu and Kelantan
Northern Zone – Perak, Kedah, Penang and Perlis
Sabah – Kota Kinabalu and its surrounding districts
Sarawak – Kuching and its surrounding districts
A maximum of only 16 teams per zone.
The AJFC Malaysia League is only open to Football Clubs and School teams.
Teams from National Sports Schools, State Sports Schools, Mokhtar Dahari National Football Academy Gambang, District Schools Sports Council (MSSD), State Schools Sports Council (MSSN) and or NFDP / PPBN District Training Centres are not allowed to participate in the AJFC Malaysia League.
Each Club and School is only allowed to register one (1) team for the AJFC Malaysia League.
The merger between two or more different Clubs, Teams or Schools for the sole purpose of participating in the AJFC Malaysia League is strictly prohibited.
Players who are under the following Football Programmes are strictly not allowed to participate in the AJFC Malaysia League:
– Full Name
– Position in team
– MyKad number
– Mobile number
– Email address
– Handphone number
– E-mail address
– Jersi number
Any Club or Team that violates the above Registration of Players Rules (clause 7 to 9(a)) shall be disqualified from the AJFC Malaysia League. All matches involving the said Club/ Team will be awarded to the opponents with a win score of 3-0.
Ringgit Malaysia Five Hundred (RM500.00) only
Fees are to be settled during Team Managers Meeting, failing which the said team(s) place in the League will be given to other team(s).
Played on a 11-a-side basis
Each match shall last 70 minutes comprizing two (2) periods of 30 minutes each with an interval of ten (10) minutes in between from the whistle ending the first period to the whistle starting the second period.
All teams are required to be on the field of play at the scheduled time as per stated in the AJFC Malaysia League match fixtures. Teams who fail to enter the field of play at the designated time will be given a 10-minute allowance (from the designated kick-off time) to do so. In the event that the said team fails to do so inside the allowance time given, a walkover would be awarded to the opposing team with a score of 3-0.

The top two (2) teams from each group (A & B) at the end of the League stage shall qualify for the Semi-final knock-out stage as follows:
Semi Final 1 – 1st Place Group A vs 2nd Place Group B
Semi Final 2 – 1st Place Group B vs 2nd Place Group A
3rd & 4th Placing and Final
3rd & 4th Placing – Loser Semi-final 1 vs Loser Semi-final 2
Final – Winner Semi-final 1 vs Winner Semi-final 2
The Technical Committee reserves the right to change the AJFC Malaysia League format for any said zone in the event that the total participation is less than 12 teams.
Champions – Trophy + RM3,500.00 Cash + 22 Medals
Runner up – RM2,000.00 Cash + 22 Medals
Third Place – RM1,000.00 Cash + 22 Medals
Fourth Place – RM500.00 Cash + 22 Medals
Fair Play Trophy – Trophy (please refer to clause 18)

* In the event that there are two (2) or more players with the equal number of goals scored, the player who scored the last goal will be the winner.

Non-Finalist – RM500 cash + 20 Medals for each team
The Challenge Trophy shall at all times be the property of the Organiser and shall remain in the premises of Allianz Malaysia Berhad.
The objective is to REWARD the team that displays exemplary sportsmanship throughout the AJFC Malaysia League in terms of:
The Organising Committee shall decide on the winner based on the above criteria and from feedback received from match officials and members of the Competitions Committee.
Rolling Substitution – Substituted players shall be allowed to re-enter the match in the same manner.
Minimum number of players to start each half shall be seven (7) failing which a walkover shall be awarded to the opponent with a score of 3-0.
All participating teams have the right to inspect their opponents’ player’s Identification Tag. Only the officially registered 18 players and four (4) officials will be issued with AJFC Malaysia League Identification Tags. The tags must be worn during:
Players – Before commencement of match and while sitting on the reserve bench/team technical area.
Team Officials – When in the reserve bench/team technical area.
Any team or player(s) whose jersey does not display the Allianz logo (as stated in clause 23) will be barred from entering the field of play till the following conditions are met:
The organiser will provide each participating player and team official with an AJFC Malaysia League 2019 official T-shirt.
All players and team officials are required to wear the T-shirts during the AJFC Malaysia League days as follows:
– Before and after matches
– During interviews and photography sessions
– Throughout League Days
– When in the Technical Area
Before the commencement of team’s first scheduled match for the day, each team is required to submit to the Zone League Manager their “Match Day Team List” on which the jersey numbers, full names of the players (18 players) together with the full names of the officials must be properly completed in block capitals, and signed by the Head Coach / Team Manager.
Semi-finals, 3rd & 4th Placing Match and Finals, the following applies:
Referees decision is FINAL
Any player or official reported for indiscipline or violent conduct anywhere in the venue including but not limited to the field of play, the changing rooms, at the training sites by the referee or the Zone League Manager shall be dealt with by the relevant Committees in accordance with the Regulations set forth by FAM.
The AJFC Malaysia League Organising Committee will establish a Tournament Disciplinary Committee consisting of three (3) members to be nominated by the FAM. All cases of misconduct reported by the Zone League Manager/ Match Referee will be referred to the AJFC Malaysia League Organising Committee, who would then inform the members of the Disciplinary Committee to convene and deliberate on reported cases.
Any decision made by the Tournament Disciplinary Committee can be appealed to the FAM Appeal Committee for final decision.
If the match is stopped by the Referee before the end of normal time or during any extra time because of any force majeure or any other incidents such as, but not limited to, the field is not fit for play, weather conditions, floodlight failure, etc. the following procedures must be followed:
The Zone League Manager shall be responsible for making all reports to the League Committee apart from the reports by the Referees.
Referee’s Assessor, Referees and Assistant Referees shall be appointed by FAM and/ or State Football Associations.
The Safety Officers, Medical Officers, Ball Boys and such shall be appointed by the League Competition Committee.
Subject to the following provisions, protests are objections of any kind to occurrences that have a direct effect on matches organised in the Competition (state and marking of the pitch, accessory match equipment, eligibility of players, stadium installations, footballs, etc);
Unless otherwise stipulated in this article, protest shall first be submitted in writing to the Match Commissioner within one (1) hour after the match and followed up immediately with a full written report, including a copy of the original protest to be sent in writing to the Organising Committee accompanied by a fee of RM 500.00 (Ringgit Malaysia Five Hundred).
If an unfounded or irresponsible protest is lodged, the Organising Committee may impose a fine and the protest fee of RM 500 (Ringgit Malaysia Five Hundred) will be forfeited.
No protest shall be made against the Referee’s decision regarding facts connected with play, such decisions being final.
All questions of Interpretation of Rules shall be referred to the Competitions Committee/ FAM Disciplinary Board.
Standard FIFA/FAM rules shall apply, failing which the decision of the Technical Committee shall be final.
All matches shall be played using official competition match balls, which shall be FIFA standard approved and inspected.
Minimum FAM D License or MSN / FAM Grassroot Coaching Certificate
All teams are required to furnish a copy of their Head Coach Coaching License/ Certificates to the Organising Committee on or before the Team Managers meeting.
In the event that a team withdraws at any point of time after the commencement of League play, the following shall apply:
The Rules of the League are binding on the teams taking part and subject to any changes that may be notified by Allianz in advance and via www.allianzfootball.com.my/registration.
All players (18 players only per team) and team officials (four (4) team officials) registered with the AJFC Malaysia League will be covered under a Personal Accident Insurance (PA Insurance) scheme by Allianz General Insurance Company (Malaysia) Berhad (Allianz General).
The policy shall only cover the registered players and officials in the event that they sustain serious injury and or death while participating in the AJFC Malaysia League matches and/ or while being in the vicinity of the AJFC Malaysia League venue during the AJFC Malaysia League proper:

PA-CL002 – Exposure (to natural eliments) Clause
PA-CL004 – Riot, Strike and Civil Commotion
PA-CL006 – Unprovoked Murder and Assault Clause
PA-CL010 – Suffocation through smoke, fumes and poisonous gas
PA-CL019 – Loss Notifications Clause (30 days)
PA-CL063 – Poisonous Food or Drink Clause
PA-CL078 – Accidental Drowning or Near Drowning Clause
PA-CL090 – Sanctions Limitation and Exclusion Clause
– Intoxication by alcohol or drugs Exclusion Clause
– Terrorism Exclusion Clause
Matters not provided for in these Regulations and cases of force-majeure shall be decided by the Organising Committee, whose decision shall be final.
