What is included in the 6-day Allianz Junior Football Camp programme?

The Allianz Junior Football Camp includes a once-in-a-life time chance to train under the youth coaches of FC Bayern Munich and interact with other players from more than 30 countries. Players will also get to meet and greet with FC Bayern Munich stars and watch the Bundesliga 2017/2018 opening match at the Allianz Arena. Where and when is the Allianz Junior Football Camp held?

Allianz Junior Football Camp is held in Munich, Germany. It is a six days programme held in August 2017. While Allianz Junior Football Camp Asia is held in Bali, Indonesia for a span of 4 days that will commence early August 2017. The dates will be announced once confirmed.

How can I be selected to join the Allianz Junior Football Camp in Germany or Indonesia?

First, you MUST be a member of a team playing in the Allianz Junior Football Camp Malaysia League. Each week a panel of selectors consisting of former national and state players will be watching out for outstanding players. They will then choose 18 players from each region to form a team to represent your region.

This team will then proceed to go into the grand finals to battle out with 4 other regions to be the named the champions of Allianz Junior Football Camp Malaysia League. During the grand finals, our panel of selectors will be looking out for 13 most outstanding players to be selected to go to Allianz Junior Football Camp Asia.

At Allianz Junior Football Camp Asia, a panel of selectors comprising the ambassador of Allianz Junior Football Camp and FC Bayern Munich youth coaches will select the best 3 from Malaysia to attend the Allianz Junior Football Camp in Munich, Germany.

Will Allianz cover my expenses for the Allianz Junior Football Camp?

Allianz will provide the air ticket, insurance coverage, accommodation at a 3-star hotel / 4-star hotel (Full Board) and local transfers in Bali, Indonesia and Munich, Germany respectively. Transport expenditures to the respective airports in Malaysia are borne by the participants

How many players will be selected to go to Bali, Indonesia and Munich, Germany respectively?

A total of 13 winners will be selected to join Allianz Junior Football Camp Asia in Bali, Indonesia. From Allianz Junior Football Camp Asia, three outstanding players will be selected to attend Allianz Junior Football Camp in Munich, Germany.

What is the AJFC Malaysia League?

AJFC Malaysia League is a local football league for 14 to 16 year olds. It is a platform where players can hone their skills, techniques and learn to work in a team while playing competitively with players from all over Malaysia.

18 outstanding players will be selected to attend AJFC Asia in Bali, Indonesia where they will meet players from countries such as China, Indonesia, Sri Lanka, Taiwan, Thailand and etc.

At AJFC Asia, 3 players will be selected to attend AJFC Munich in Germany where they will meet players from over 30 countries.

Where will the League matches be played?

The League will be held simultaneously in five regions for 6 weeks: Central Region – Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia(UKM) in Bangi, Selangor; Southern Region – Malacca Amateur Football Association(MAFA), Padang Sepuluh in Melaka; Northern Region – Universiti Sains Malaysia(USM) in Penang; East Coast Region – Padang Majlis Perbandaran Kuantan(MPK) and Kolej Islam Pahang Sultan Ahmad Shah(KIPSAS) in Kuantan; and East Malaysia Region – Padang Sukma & Kompleks Sukan Likas, Kota Kinabalu, Sabah. The Grand Finals in July will be held at Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia in Bangi, Selangor.

When will the League matches be played?

The League will start on 18 March until 20 May 2017. Grand Finals will be held in July 2017.

What is the League format?

How do I sign up for the AJFC Malaysia League?

Teams must register online via www.allianzfootball.com.my/registration. Registration must include a Coach, Assistant coach, Team Manager, Physiotherapist and 18 players.

When is the online registration and enrolment period?

Registration is open from 3pm, 8 February 2017 until 11.59pm, 26 February 2017.

What do I need to do to join the AJFC Malaysia League?

Step 1: Make sure you are in a team of 18 players. Your team is required to get a Coach, an Assistant Coach, a Physiotherapist and a Team Manager who will be the official contact point for Allianz and your team;

Step 2: Sign up via www.allianzfootball.com.my/registration and fill up required details;

Step 3: Your Team Manager will receive an email acknowledgement upon completion of the online submission.

Step 4: Your Team Manager and coach must attend the briefing meeting to confirm your registration. Briefing meeting will include the League rules and regulations and the draw for the playing schedule will be conducted. At the meeting, Team Managers must submit the following documents of his/her players:

i. A passport sized photo;
ii. A photocopy of MyKad;
iii. Signed copy of Declaration of Consent;
iv. and original MyKad must be produced for verification.

Step 5: After the briefing meeting, your Team Manager will receive an email containing the official schedule.

What if I do not have a team? Is there any way I can participate or any way the organiser can place me in a team?

What information do I need to provide upon registration?

You MUST provide your full name, email address, gender, IC number, contact phone; Team Manager, Coach, Assistant coach and Physiotherapist’s full name, contact number, email address as well as details of your team members. You must also accept the AJFC Malaysia League Terms and Conditions before submitting your online registration.

What are the criteria for the Team Manager?

The Team Manager MUST be 18 years old and above. He/she can be a parent of one of the team members. The role of the Team Manager is to be the key contact person to represent your team.

Can the same player represent two teams?

No. A player can only represent one team.

What is the age group to join AJFC Malaysia League?

The League is open to all teenagers between the ages of 14 and 16 years old.

Can female teenagers join as well?

Yes. The League is open to both males and females. A team can register as an all-girls team or and all-boys team or as a mixed team of boys and girls.

Can a team have a mixture of male and female players?

Yes.

Are children of Allianz employees allowed to join the AJFC Malaysia League?

Yes, children of Allianz employees are allowed to join the League. Children of business partners and agents can also join the League. They must register as a member of a team to participate.

If I missed the registration deadline, can I play in the Grand Final July?

Unfortunately, you will not be able to play in the Grand Final. However, we welcome you to join us as a spectator to watch the final match and support the teams.

Is there a fee to register?

Yes. There is a registration fee of RM500 per team.

What will happen if I’m late for a League match?

All teams are required to be on the field of play at the scheduled time as per stated in the AJFC Malaysia League match fixtures. Teams who fail to enter the field of play at the designated time will be given a 10-minute allowance (from the designated kick-off time) to do so. In the event that the said team fails to do so inside the allowance time given, a walkover will be awarded to the opposing team with a score of 3-0.

What do I need to wear for the League matches?

Allianz will provide you an Allianz jersey and the Allianz logo sticker before the start of the first match. All players and team officials are required to wear the T-shirts during the AJFC Malaysia League days as follows:

  • Before and after matches.
  • During interviews and photography sessions

Team Officials

  • Throughout League Days
  • When in the Technical Area
  • During interviews and photography sessions

During the matches, players are required to bring two (2) sets of jersey on every match day bearing the Allianz logo on the front. Refer to the rules and regulations for logo placement. Please bring your own shoes, socks, shin pads and towel as these will not be provided.

Do I need to wear protective gear?

You are required to wear your shin pads during the tournament. Goalkeepers are required to wear their own football gloves, among others.

If a player is injured, can he be replaced by a new team member?

Yes, however the player will be required to provide the league organiser their medical report first.

What do I need to bring to the League matches?

You MUST bring your identity card for verification purpose. You will get your tag with lanyard to identify you are the registered players. Please keep the tag safely until the end of the League.

Is Allianz providing any insurance coverage?

All players (18 players only per team) and team officials (four (4) team officials) registered with the AJFC Malaysia League will be covered under a Personal Accident Insurance (PA Insurance) scheme by Allianz General Insurance Company (Malaysia) Berhad (Allianz General).

The policy shall only cover the registered players and officials in the event that they sustain serious injury and or death while participating in the AJFC Malaysia League matches and/ or while being in the vicinity of the AJFC Malaysia League venue during the AJFC Malaysia League proper:

  1. Treatment in Government Hospitals only
  2. All treatment and medical expenses incurred are to be paid first by the patient concerned. The treatment and medical bills together with the medical report are then to be submitted to Allianz for reimbursement

In the event of bad weather, will matches be cancelled?

The Tournament Director or the authorised officer at the venue will be the final person to determine the status of the match.

When and how are the winners announced?

Winners will be announced in July 2017 after the final match at Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM) in Bangi. The winners will also receive an official email within a week after the final match.
